Epoch Polishing Bar is a great choice to buff impurities from your skin. It owes this trait to the presence of Sisku’ pas bark – the ground bark of a coastal conifer treasured by the Cowlitz tribe of the Pacific Northwest for that very reason.
What inspired us?
Epoch Polishing Bar is inspired by the wisdom of Northwest American tribes. Legend has it that indigenous people in the Pacific Northwest may have tried to make pottery from the sea clay we use for our extract. They were unsuccessful because of the mud’s fine particle size but noticed their hands were softer and smoother!
What powers it?
Sea Clay Extract – the key component of Glacial Marine Mud helps condition the skin. Obtained from a remote glacial estuary in the Pacific Northwest, it contains more than 50 skin-beneficial minerals and trace elements, including zinc, magnesium, and much more. It draws out impurities from the skin without robbing it of precious moisture.
Sisku’ pas Bark – gently polishes the skin, leaving it feeling and looking fresh, clean, and smooth. The ground bark of a coastal conifer tree, it was treasured by the Cowlitz tribe of the Pacific Northwest for its skin-polishing
